I loved the great location and the beautiful view! The breakfast was tasty and the staff were super helpful 😊. But the shower was a bit too small for comfort, definitely a tight squeeze!

The hotel is ideally located near the city center with easy access to shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, the walls between rooms are thin, so noise from neighbors was distracting. Great bicycle rental options available.

i had an interesting time at this hotel, truly. the elevator was out, so i had to suffer with my luggage up four flights. absolutely not impressive. as if that wasn't enough, no hot water for a shower after a long day! i nearly considered giving them a good review but just couldn’t.

I truly enjoyed the central location of Hotel Laranjeira, which made exploring Viana do Castelo a breeze. The breakfast crew was exceptional. they were thoughtful, ensuring everything was well-stocked and even providing snack items for my hike.

Parking can be limited.

This hotel was just a suitable option for a mini-vacation in Viana do Castelo with good value for the price. The gentleman who runs the breakfast area was really friendly and made our mornings more enjoyable. Make sure to check out the balcony views whenever possible.

We enjoyed our stay as a family with kids! The location was perfect for exploring nearby activities, and the continental breakfast really hit the spot. The staff went above and beyond to help us manage our bags, which was a lifesaver.

My wife says that the bathroom could use better privacy options.

Great Location and Helpful Staff

I recently stayed for two nights while hiking the Camino, and the location was perfect for exploring Viana do Castelo. The staff were super attentive, especially during breakfast. they ensured everything was topped up, and even offered us food for our hike, which was a nice touch. The hotel was clean, and my room was cozy although on the smaller side, but it was comfortable enough for my stay. I would have appreciated a bit more variety in the breakfast options, maybe some vegetables would be nice.

The staff were warm and engaging, always available for assistance. The room was spacious, opening to a lovely shared patio that added an extra touch. The hotel is conveniently located just two blocks from the train station, making exploration easy. I loved the stunning city view from my room, which was a delightful surprise.

Exceptional staff made for a warm welcome and attentive service throughout my stay. The breakfast was enjoyable, featuring a delightful barbeque during the mornings. However, the room was quite cramped, lacking adequate space to maneuver comfortably, and the shower situation was far from ideal with limited room. Additionally, while the location was good, noise isolation between rooms left much to be desired, leading to disturbances at night.

the staff at laranjeira truly went above and beyond (a special shoutout to the welcoming reception crew! ). the breakfast spread was delightful, with incredibly attentive service ensuring a great start to the day!.
