We couldn't fault the friendliness and help from all the staff. The hotel has a cosy feel and is very well situated on a quiet road just off the main high street. If you arrive by car take advantage of their small car park on site. It's very convenient and competitively priced.

The hotel's location near Santiago da Barra Castle was great. the breakfast included delicious bread and bottled juice. - the hotel had a nice restaurant. - the staff were efficient and outstandingly accommodating.

A very nice, clean and welcoming hotel. Very well received, nice rooms with a nice view and a wonderful kitchen for breakfast together with the other guests. The owners are running this place with a very personal touch and we are happy to recommend Residencial Laranjeira to other guests.

this is a suggestion rather than a negative. I meant to mention it at the hotel but forgot!! It would be helpful to have instructions on how to mix the water from the shower. It would save time and water that is wasted on trying to figure it out.

This place is pretty clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. You can enjoy a great view of the castle from here, which is awesome. Plus, there's a nice traditional restaurant on-site where you can have a tasty dinner. 🏰

I came here for 2 nights and had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel was beautifuly designed and the location was magnificent so close to the hill, the historic centre of Viana do Castelo, and the old town center, supermarket, traditional commerce, train station and all main attractions. The staff was very dedicated which made me feel welcome. The private parking was on site, exceptional service...

The room has a feeling of a Barbie doll room. Compact. Tight. Cute. And see through bathroom walls. Ok for one night but the lack of space and real comfort grows on you with time.

The value for money at Hotel Laranjeira was exceptional, with a modern, comfortable room and a great view from the balcony. The location was perfect, right in the center of town, and the staff treated me with utmost friendliness and helpfulness.

The breakfast offerings could be improved by providing a checklist for guests to choose their preferences, reducing potential waste and ensuring that everyone gets exactly what they want.

The room was cheap and exceptionally clean with modern bathroom and an electronic key card, a work desk and a TV set. The staff were super-friendly and incredibly welcoming, doing great job.

Please be aware that the hotel rooms, though very nice and comfortable, have the whole bathroom wall and door made of totally transparent class.
